  • Mid-Term:
    • Completed Portfolio Pieces: 60% 
    • Attendance/Participation: 40% 
    • Credit will be given for demonstrated Exam/Course improvement

  • Final Grade:
    • Completed Portfolio Pieces: 60% 
    • Attendance/Participation: 40% 
    • Credit will be given for demonstrated Exam/Course improvement 
 Grades are based on the following scale:
  • 90-100% = A to A+ (Truly superior effort) 
  • 80-90% = B to B+ (Full mastery of the material) 
  • 70-79% = C to C+ (Average work) 
  • 60-69% = D to D+ (Barely satisfactory) 
  • 59% and below = F (Unsatisfactory)
METHOD OF EXAMINATION: 
  • HOW PORTFOLIO WORK IS GRADED:
    • On a scale of 0 – 100-points 
      • QUADRANT ONE 
        • Followed Instruction
          • Completely – 100 
          • Mostly – 90 to 99 
          • Somewhat-- 80 to 89 
          • Hardly – 60 to 79 
          • Not At All – 0 to 59
      • QUADRANT TWO
        • Effort 
          • High Standard – 100 
          • Above Standard – 90 to 99 
          • Standard - 80 to 89 
          • Below Standard – 60 to 79 
          • Sub-Standard – 0 to 59
      • QUADRANT THREE
        • Quality of work (reveals level of care, concern & craftsmanship) 
          • High Standard – 100 
          • Above Standard – 90 to 99 
          • Standard - 80 to 89 
          • Below Standard – 60 to 79

      • QUADRANT FOUR
        • TOTAL POINTS from Quadrants 1 - 3 
        • PORTFOLIO GRADE: Total Quadrant Points divided by three
